Air Distribution
With the motorized louver, the airflow can be directed to achieve maximum comfort in any operating mode. Additionally, the horizontal airflow eliminates annoying drafts towards the occupants.

Plasma Quad Plus Filter Included
This feature makes the internal unit particularly suitable for families concerned about air quality or for installations in environments with often compromised air (e.g., premises facing busy areas, cities, near production activities). The Plasma Quad Plus technology eliminates bacteria and viruses using an electric field and a series of electrical discharges through which the air passes. The Plasma Quad PLUS system actively filters up to 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and PM2.5 in the air, up to 98% of allergens and pollen, and up to 99.7% of mites and dust.

"Self Clean" Function
The new "Self Clean" function on the MSZ-AY dries the internal unit at the end of the cooling or dehumidification cycle, preventing mold and unpleasant odors.

The MSZ-AY unit introduces another revolutionary technology: Double Barrier Coating. Dust and impurities introduced during operation deposit on internal components, especially the battery and fan, increasing machine consumption by up to 18%. Double Barrier Coating treats internal components with a second protective layer that prevents dust and impurities from settling even after long periods, reducing consumption and eliminating the need for maintenance regarding this issue.

Ready to be configured and used, it allows the user to remotely manage all the air conditioner's functions via the Wi-Fi controller. Using the Cloud to transmit and receive information and the dedicated Wi-Fi interface, you can easily control your system wherever you are via PC, tablet, or smartphone, as long as you have an internet connection. MELCloud can also be voice-controlled, compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The MELCloud service is designed for maximum compatibility with PCs, tablets, and smartphones through dedicated Apps or Web Browser.
