The Asso wooden ironing station by Foppapedretti is a traditional ironing workstation in solid wood which folds into a small space. A real trump card for Italian housewives (and husbands too!) since the 80s.
Designed to provide maximum comfort, the Asso is also a great tool for keeping your house tidy when not in use: it closes up completely, taking up minimal space and holding the iron in its place. The two scratch-proof rubber castors allow you to move it around easily.
The strengths of the Asso are:
- the wide, moulded ironing board made of poplar plywood, with ventilation holes, that allows you to iron conveniently and achieve the maximum result
- the resistant frame made of solid and long-lasting varnished beechwood
- the convenient shelves to place ironed linen
- the practical side shelf with heat-resistant rubber mat to hold the iron
- the coathanger bracket where you can hang up ironed clothing.
The ironing board, made in poplar plywood with ventilation holes to avoid condensation when ironing, is lined with a patterned cotton cover with aluminium powder, "laCopertina", which is resistant to high temperatures, while the 100% polyester padded underlay, "ilMollettone", is inserted between "laCopertina" and the ironing board to protect the board from the heat of the iron. Both the cotton cover, "laCopertina", and the padded underlay, "ilMollettone", can be purchased separately as a replacement for the surfaces if they become worn over time..
The Asso ironing station is available in different colours to suit every taste and adapt to any type of furniture: from classic lacquered walnut and natural to the most modern white, wenge and canaletto.
